William J. Ruth, 63, of West Wyoming, passed away Friday, Jan. 5, 2024.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late A.J. and Helene Biros Ruth.

Prior to his retirement, he was employed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Arlene McCabe and brother, James Ruth.

Surviving are his wife of 38 years, Patti Kendzor Ruth; brothers, Reverend John Ruth and Joseph Ruth and his husband Paul; several nieces and nephews; and two fur babies, Skunky and Pumpkins.

Private funeral arrangements will be held at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements are entrusted to Bednarski Funeral Home, 168 Wyoming Ave., Wyoming.
