Thomas David Ball, 73, a lifelong resident of Wyoming, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, February 5, 2026.

Born in Kingston on December 9, 1952, he was the son of the late Leroy David and Elizabeth Theresa (Koslick) Ball.

Prior to his retirement, Thomas was a skilled plumber by trade, and spent his career with Penn State Mechanical Contractors, Inc.  He was a dedicated member of the community, holding memberships in the VFW and the Wyoming Hose Company No. 2 in Wyoming.

An avid sportsman, he enjoyed playing golf and was a member of the Emanon Country Club in Falls. His diverse hobbies were a testament to his love for the outdoors, where he spent much of his time as an avid hunter and fisherman. Thomas also had a deep affection for animals and especially enjoyed the peaceful pursuit of bird watching.

In addition to his parents, Thomas was preceded in death by his sister, Denise Russell; and his nephew, Gary Ball Jr.

Surviving are his daughter, Jessica Emley and her husband, Joel, St. Petersburg, FL; his brothers, Lee David Ball and his wife, Gladys, Clearwater, FL; and Gary Steven Ball and his wife, Paula, Harding; his sister, Laurie Bell (Boog) and her husband Roger, Michigan; two grandchildren, Jade and Jake Emley; nieces, Elizabeth Poor and her husband, Ian; and Janae Lindsey and her husband, Brad; as well as extended nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date to be announced by the family.

Memorial donations may be made in Thomas's memory to Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Bednarski Funeral Home, 168 Wyoming Avenue, Wyoming.
