Ruth Ann Chepalonis, 74, of Exeter, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at her home.

Ruth was the beloved wife of Anthony Chepalonis. The couple celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary on October 13th.

Born on February 17, 1951, in Kingston, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Lillian Sadowski.

Following high school, Ruth was employed by the Party Time Manufacturing Company in Hughestown. Beyond her professional life, she was a devoted homemaker who took great pride in tending to the daily needs of her family.

A woman of deep faith, Ruth was a devoted and faithful Catholic. She found joy in quilting and, above all, spending time with her cherished family. Friends and family will remember her for her kindness, loving spirit, and unwavering dedication to those she loved.

Ruth's life was a testament to the power of family, faith, and simple, profound kindness. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her brothers, Anthony, Bernard, Edward, Jacob, and Joseph; and her sisters, Agnes Toole and Elizabeth Besermin.

Surviving are her husband, Anthony; her daughters, Lisa Stugart, Pittsburgh; and Antoinette Jones, West Pittston; four grandchildren, Sonja, Gavin and Amelia Stugart, and Carson Jones; brother, Thomas Sadowski, NJ; and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation on Thursday, December 11, 2025 from 10 to 11 AM in Immaculate Conception Church of Corpus Christi Parish, 605 Luzerne Avenue, West Pittston.

A Memorial Mass will begin at 11 AM with Monsignor John J. Sempa, officiating.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Bednarski Funeral Home, 168 Wyoming Avenue, Wyoming.
