Robert R. Petro, 87, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away Friday, August 25, 2023 in Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Wilkes-Barre.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, on September 21, 1935, he was the son of the late Michael and Mary Mattey Petro.

Robert was a veteran of the United States Army, serving in the Military Police during the Korean War.

Prior to retiring he was employed as a service manage for International Shoe Machine.

Surviving are his wife, Michalene Wilpiszewski Petro and his three children, Michelle, and twins, Andrea and Robert.

Private funeral arrangements were entrusted to Bednarski Funeral Home, Wyoming.
