Patricia M. (Dziedzic) Hodgson, 74, of Dallas, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 2, 2026 at the Meadows Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Dallas.

Born in Kingston on July 13, 1951, Patricia was the daughter of the late Edmund J. and Victoria B. Holub Dziedzic.

Prior to retiring, Patricia spent her professional life in service to others, working in clerical and communications roles for several major regional healthcare providers, including Wilkes-Barre General, Geisinger, Allied, and John Heinz. She also held a position in customer service at Bevaco US Foods.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 27 years, James F. Hodgson.

She will be missed by those who knew and loved her.  Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever.

Surviving are her brother Edmund Dziedzic and his wife, Katherine Leigh, Kingston; step son, Michael Hodgson and his wife, Nicole; step granddaughter, Madelynn Mae Hodgson; 3 step nephews; as well as many family and friends.

Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.

Interment will be held in St. Joseph's Cemetery, West Wyoming.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Bednarski Funeral Home, 168 Wyoming Ave., Wyoming.

Patricia's family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to the staff at the Meadows, particularly the 3rd-floor rehabilitation team, for the exceptional care and compassion shown to her.
