Norma Cappellini, 94, of West Wyoming, passed away at the Meadows Nursing Center, Dallas, on March 29, 2025.

Born in 1931, she was the daughter of the late Casmir and Angelina Pieri.

Norma was a graduate of West Wyoming High School.  After graduation she worked briefly in New York City then returned home to marry the love of her life, Edolo Cappellini, with whom she shared 62 years of marriage, until his passing in 2018.

She enjoyed cooking, pinochle, and traveling.  She also enjoyed all types of sports and was a lifelong fan of the Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles.

Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.

Norma was a woman of strong beliefs and intelligence and gave her unconditional love and support to her family who will miss her dearly.

Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents and her husband, was her brother, Joseph Pieri.

Surviving are her children, Linda Stizza and her husband, Denis, Maui, HI; Albert Cappellini and his wife, Danielle, Shavertown; Gary Cappellini, West Wyoming; and Brian Cappellini and his wife, Natalie, Gilbert, AZ; as well as grandchildren, Ryan, Brianna, Lane and Tanner.

A private memorial and interment will be held at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Bednarski Funeral Home, Wyoming.
