Obituary

Mary A. Radzwilka, 93, of Wyoming, passed away in the loving comfort of her daughter's home, on Friday, Jan. 31, 2025.

Her beloved husband was the late Frank A. Radzwilka, who passed away on Oct. 27, 2006. Together, Frank and Mary shared 49 years of marriage.

Born Dec. 18, 1931, in Yatesville, Mary was the daughter of the late Paul and Mary Ciliberto Gattuso.

She was a home health aide for many years, and in previous years, she worked in the local garment industry.

Mary was a devout Catholic and had an unwavering faith in God. She was a longtime member of the former St. Joseph's Church, Wyoming, where she held membership with the church's confraternity of Christian mothers.

She enjoyed cooking and baking and was proud to keep her Italian traditions alive for her family.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Mary was preceded in death by her sisters: Frances Ostir, Ann Erzar and Catherine Merrit; and her brothers: Joseph, Peter, Anthony, John and Nicholas Gattuso.

Surviving are her son, Dr. Joseph Radzwilka and his wife, Maureen, Exeter; daughters: Mary Prutzman and her husband, Wilbur, Montgomery, N.Y.; Christine Kendzor, West Wyoming; and Dianne Amy Schrode and her husband, Mark, Palmyra; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brother, Frank Gattuso and his wife, Beverly, Yatesville; ; sister-in-law, Genevieve Wisnieski, Mass.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday from Bednarski Funeral Home, 168 Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Anthony's Church, of Corpus Christi Parish, 224 Memorial St., Exeter, with Monsignor John J. Sempa, officiating. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, West Wyoming. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
