John (Jack) Joseph Christopher, Jr., age 83, passed away Sunday afternoon, May 24th, 2026, at Lynn Care Center in Front Royal, Virginia. He had been ill since the beginning of the year. He spent his final days surrounded by his loving family and friends.

He was born in Kingston, PA, and was the son of the late John and Lottie Christohper. He was predeceased by his sisters Geraldine Wilson and Louise Bagonis.

Jack, a Navy veteran, served during the Vietnam War. After his discharge from the military, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Northland College in Ashland, Wisconsin. His career took him into many areas of retail sales. Hunting, fishing, golfing, and coaching football and baseball were his favorite pastimes. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus, and remained active while he was able.

He is survived by his wife, Judy; sister Connie Orrson, of Dallas, PA; and sons, J.J. (wife Frankie) of Front Royal, VA, Justin (wife Patti) of Haymarket, VA, Jeremy (wife Amy) of Little Washington, VA; and six grandchildren whom he adored!

Private funeral services will be held in Pennsylvania. A Celebration of Life is being planned for later this summer in Virginia.
