Jennifer Bowen, 46, of Wyoming, passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family, after a courageous battle with brain cancer.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, on September 24, 1978, Jennifer was the daughter of Diane Metcalf Balent, of Wyoming, and the late David J. Balent.

Jennifer was employed by CVS Health, Hanover, as a Certified Pharmacy Technician.

In addition to her mother, Jennifer is survived by her husband, Robert Bowen; son, Brayden Bowen; sister, Heather McDonald and her husband, Martin, Swoyersville; brother and sister-in-law, Matthew and Kristen Bowen, West Pittston; one niece; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family would like to thank Dr. David W. Greenwald and his dedicated staff at Medical Oncology Associates for their care and compassion.

Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Bednarski Funeral Home, 168 Wyoming Ave., Wyoming.
