Irene Kepich Bubblo, 64, of West Wyoming, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
Born in Pittston, Irene was the daughter of the late Paul and Anna Lee Kepich. She was a graduate of Pittston Area High School and worked at Kappa Graphics, where she met her husband and the love of her life, Joe; they were married for 36 years.
Irene was a loving wife, mother, and sister who enjoyed crocheting, shopping, and watching old television reruns. She was also a dedicated volunteer for her children's activities, including the Special Olympics and the Wyoming Area marching band.
She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents, Irene was preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Kepich, and her Mother-in-law and Father-in-law, Peggy and Dave Bubblo.
Surviving are her husband, Joseph; son, Joe Jr.; daughter, Brittany; sisters, Joanne Koza, Catherine Walsh, and Anne Lee Thacker; as well as several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 20, 2026, from the Bednarski Funeral Home, 168 Wyoming Avenue, Wyoming, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Monica Parish, 363 W. Eighth St., West Wyoming, with the Rev. Peter Tomczak, officiating.
Interment will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Carverton.
Family and friends are invited to attend Irene's viewing which will be held on Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
