Geraldine A. (Biagioli) Asklar, 85, of Wyoming, passed away Sunday, July 7, 2024 at Allied Services Hospice Center in Wilkes-Barre.

Born on June 24, 1939, Geri was the daughter of the late James and Elizabeth Debo Biagioli.

Residing in Wyoming her whole life, she was a graduate of Wyoming Memorial  High School Class of 1958.

She was a member of the former St. Joseph's Church in Wyoming and also of St. Anthony's Church in Exeter.

Geri was a homemaker and also worked in the local garment industry in her younger years.  She was also a devoted caregiver for her parents and her husband.

In addition to her parents, Geri was preceded in death by her husband, of 56 years, Frederick R. Asklar; and her brother, James J. Biagioli.

Surviving are her daughters, Carolyn Carlson and her husband, Gerald Jr., Wyoming; and Nancy Longfoot and her husband, Charles, Wyoming; her beloved grandchildren, Matthew and Joshua Carlson, and Gabriella and Giovanna Longfoot; brother and sister-in laws, Shirley Biagioli, Exeter; Judith and Thomas Chernowsky, West Wyoming; and Elaine and Richard Bell, Wyomissing; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Allied Services Hospice Center, Wilkes-Barre or to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
