Dolores
Bubblo
d. Nov 23, 2023
Dolores Bubblo, 89, of Wyoming, passed away Thursday, November 23, 2023 at Wesley Village Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Pittston.
Born in Swoyersville, on December 4, 1933, Dolores was the daughter of the late Michael and Helen Pecukonis Hudanick.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed by the Nesbitt Memorial Hospital.
She was a member of St. Monica's Parish, Our Lady of Sorrows Church, West Wyoming, where, she was also a member of the Christian Mother's Society.
Dolores liked a good cup of coffee and good conversation with her loved ones. She enjoyed spending time with her neighbors and friends on West Brady Street. Her favorite past time, however, were the family gatherings with her children and their families.
She loved sitting on her front porch, tending to her flower garden and she loved her dogs. Later in life, she became an avid football fan of the Eagles, which was inspired by her grandson, Matthew Zaluski.
Dolores was funny, sharp minded, and witty. But above all, she was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She treasured every moment spent with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John J. Bubblo Sr.; son, Michael Bubblo; grandson, Matthew Zaluski; son-in-law, Pat Giambra; brothers, Bernard Hudanick and Master Sgt. Michael Hudanick; and sister, Helen Dennis.
Surviving are her sons, John Bubblo; and Keith Bubblo and his wife, Catherine; daughters, Marilyn Giambra; Joyce Nardozzi; and Kimberly Trubia and her husband, Carmen; 12 grandchildren, Tiffany (Paul) Adams; Patrick and Matthew (Rita) Giambra; Angela and Alex Greco; Nicole (Justin) Cosimo; Rachel Nardozzi; Zachary Zaluski; Camden, Colton, Truman and Harper Bubblo; 8 great grandchildren, Mia, Luca and Cora Giambra; William and John Paul Adams; and Veda, Ezra, and Ivy Cosimo; sisters, Marion Savakinas and Barbara Drobnicki; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Wesley Village for all of their compassion and care.
