Daniel J. Yadrnak, 69, of Kingston, passed away Monday, December 16, 2024 at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Wilkes-Barre, following a lengthy illness.

Born on June 9, 1955, in Wilkes-Barre, Daniel was the son of Mary Uporsky Yadrnak, Exeter and the late Daniel T. Yadrnak, who passed away in 1968.

Daniel was a graduate of Wyoming Area High School Class of 1973.

Prior to his retirement, he was employed by Proctor & Gamble, Mehoopany, for many years.

In addition to his father, Daniel was preceded in death by his son, Kyle Luke Yadrnak, who passed away in 2019.

Family was the center of Daniel's life, and his warmth and kindness touched everyone he met.  His heart overflowed with love and pride for his family, especially his grandchildren, whom he adored beyond measure. His eyes lit up with every laugh and smile they brought into his life when they were together and he cherished every moment spent with them during the many trips to Maine.

Daniel was a kind and gentle person with a great sense of humor.  He will be remembered for the love he had for his family, including his precious dog, Bunzy.  He will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.

Surviving, in addition to his dear mother, Mary Yadrnak, Exeter, are his loving wife of 42 years, Rosemary Domarasky Yadrnak; son, Daniel Yadrnak and his wife, Rachel, Maine; two grandchildren, Jack and Eleanor Yadrnak; brother, Michael Yadrnak, Exeter; sister, Constance Yadrnak, Exeter and her companion, James DePetro; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Michael and Beth Ann Domarasky; and sister-in-law, Joan Luksa; as well as numerous relatives.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, December 23, 2024 at 10:30 A.M. in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, 116 Hughes Street, Swoyersville, with the Reverend John J. Chmil, officiating.

Family and friends may call from 9:30 A.M. until the time of mass at the church.

Interment will follow in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Schooley St., Exeter.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Bednarski Funeral Home, 168 Wyoming Ave., Wyoming.
