Obituary

Carl Stahley Jr., 53, beloved son of Carl Sr. and Barbara Thieman Stahley, of West Wyoming, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 15, 2024 at Lakewood Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Nanticoke.

Born on November 10, 1971, in Kingston, Carl was a graduate of Wyoming Area High School Class of 1989 and the Art Institute of Philadelphia.  While a student at the art institute he was awarded a presidential Scholarship.

Carl worked in the retail industry initially as an employee of the Ritz Camera Co. at Boscov's in Wilkes-Barre.  He later became the regional manager for Yankee Candle.

Following the pandemic, he was employed as a design manager for Wren Kitchen and most recently was employed as the general manager at Visionworks, W-B.

Carl was well-known for his passion for music, especially rock music.  He played in a band during his high school years, with his fellow schoolmates.   Following his high school days, he switched into a DJ career, bringing joy to countless gatherings with his infectious energy.

He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan as well as an avid photographer, always searching for the icon lighting for his photo shots.

In addition to his parents, Carl Sr. and Barbara Stahley, Carl is survived by his daughter, Everleigh Reign Stahley and her sisters, Luree and Cara Zambetti; and his brother, David Stahley.

Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon Friday at the Bednarski Funeral Home, 168 Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, with the Reverend Peter A. Tomczak, officiating.

Interment will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Carverton.
