Barbara Cirelli, 83, of Exeter, PA and a long-time resident of Harding, PA, passed away September 13, 2024, at Allied Services Meade Street in Wilkes-Barre.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, on November 17, 1940, Barbara was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Sophie (Letinski) Chabala.

Barbara graduated from Marymount High School, Wilkes-Barre.  She was a member of Corpus Christi Parish, West Pittston.

Prior to her retirement, she was employed by Acme Markets.

Barbara was an avid reader and a loyal Penn State and Phillies fan.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Martin J. Cirelli Sr.; and her brother, Richard "Jack" Chabala.

Surviving are her sons, Martin Jr. and his wife, Kathy, Harding; Nicholas and his wife, Sally, West Pittston; and James and his wife, Karen, Pittston; and her grandchildren, Marty, Nicole, Dominic, Nick, Rebecca, and Nina.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, September 17, 2024 at 11 a.m. in Church of the Holy Redeemer, Harding.

Interment will follow in the West Pittston Cemetery.

Family and friends may call Tuesday morning from 10 a.m. until the time of mass at the church.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Barbara's name to the Care and Concern Ministry of Corpus Christi Parish, 605 Luzerne Ave., West Pittston, PA 18643.
